Music artist Gordon Delacroix (Okamy) asked me to make his music video more interesting. Due to Covid-19 and the closure of borders, he wasn’t able to go to tropical place to shoot the video, so he decided to bring the tropics to Brussels. This was a long and fruitful work on creating realistic plants on video and both of us ended up happy with the results. I managed to perfectly mix 3D vegetation with reality. Now music video “You” looks really tropic.
The process of visualization of a frame consisted of several stages: creating three-dimensional objects (vegetation), rotoscoping and color correction. Final step – compositing. Sometimes cleanup and computer reworking of the existing environment was also used.

The Brussel Royal palace (restored using CGI)
This video was warmly received by users. In the comments on YouTube, everyone loved both the song and the clip. We are glad that mass media Brussels have appreciated our work.
The change of style is radical, clearly much more pop, and the clip, shot in the empty streets of Brussels, sees the Botanique, the Atomium or the Royal Park “pimped” in tropical mode. (focus.levif.be)
